Vascular center

Our department primarily focuses on treating varices (varicose veins). Clients can choose from a number of operational methods – besides the stripping operation, the most modern method is radiofrequency ablation, VNUS Closure, which was introduced to the Czech Republic by Jaroslav Kliment, MD, who is also the only accredited tutor of this method in CR. This method has up to 4 times less regression than the classic method. We have modern instruments and our operating rooms have state-of-the-art equipment.

Ambulatory care

Comprehensive diagnosis of venous and arterial diseases (atresia and stenosis, aneurysm,
phlebothrombosis, varices, etc.)
Medicamentous treatment of vascular diseases
Compression treatment of venous diseases including choosing the aids (elastic bandages,
stockings, tights, etc.)
Sclerotherapy for varicose veins, reticular and varicose nodes

Surgical treatments

Varicose veins surgery (stripping, phlebectomy, vein ligation, vein removal)
Excision of small dermal lesions and tumours
Radiofrequency ablation of varices using the VNUS Closure system
Combined radiofrequency ablation using the VNUS system and Stylet needles under
ultrasound guidance
